My Newest Petunia painting.
I tried working the background first on this one .Not a Normal method for me . But I do think it has a softer look due to it .

This is a beaut, wet and misty and fresh as the morning dew. I really like how the comp recedes ending with the flower in the upper right, and the leafs you painted in the lower left are gorgeous. And let's not forget the petunias!

Love the lost and found edges of the Petunias June. Your composition, colour choice and soft confident wet into wet washes has a calming effect.
