Applesauce

 My first painting after 2 years . Hard to get back to mentally and with  Kitty to deal with. I did find these Sound  thingies she does not like at all and she now keeps away from my table . One worry I don't have anymore ,thankfully. I feel very rusty and up tight but hope it will all come back soon . It has been too long and have longed to get back to it for a long time .

2 " Splash" Vases

        I call these my ,"Splash ", Paintings as they come directly from the wash applied and not from an idea from a photo . Splashing around with color , leaving White space for things to happen  or forcing them to happen . Always on Wet paper they are Wet in Wet, a watercolorist description of style . A lot of fails with these but sometimes you get lucky ,if you keep trying .
    I have done many of these.  Fun but challenging .
