Reflections On The Pond

This was done Wet into Wet as I did in the old style that I did for many, many years ..
It was hard to return to it ,but also fun trying to keep the mystery without being too detailed and still say something unique .

Absolutely beautiful. I love the mystery. I am really missing my watercolours lately, acrylics have taken over for the moment.

Ahhhhhh I remember this, a magical mystery tour of color and mood. I hope it hasn't been languishing under the bed, this at least deserves a month on the living room easel!

Mom, this is awesome stuff. Like a surreal Autumn (or is it Spring?) with a psychedelic looking-glass pond. Water in watercolor painting is so extraordinary -- kind of a double whammy of liquid. You do it so well!

Are we related ????
Well, this IS Spring, as revealed by the bare trees and the Azalea bushes and High color , which always announces Spring.
The water in watercolor is a good combination any time. It works for me anyhow
Have you ever considered writing as a Profesion?

Are you my mother???? Bwhahhahaa!!!

Who knows where I get all this talent; the gene-pool is heavy on both sides with generations of genius. (In fact in the park yesterday we saw one of those dappled doggies your father drew...I think Aunt Rose has that sketch in S.I.)

Are you ever going to post the tres wild Egyptian painting? I can take a pic of it soon. It will make everyone DROOL.

Come on, Mom - post it!
